Higher education
is an expectation.

Building and sustaining relationships between Boys Hope Girls Hope and institutions of higher education creates a valuable pathway of awareness, access, and affordability for our scholars’ advancement to the next stage of their academic journey.

College and University Partnerships

Boys Hope Girls Hope understands our nation’s growing challenges of declining college enrollment coupled with the widening gap in college-readiness, particularly among first-generation students of color.  Together we can bridge preparation with opportunity that ultimately shapes Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars into college graduates with the critical-thinking, problem-solving, and creativity required to lead and positively impact industry.

As a partnering institution of higher education, you can:

  • Develop a focused outreach and recruitment-funnel plan, tailored to a diverse population of high-achieving prospective students located in top feeder states for your institution
  • Identify and build relationships with diverse high school students with strong academic backgrounds as candidates for pre-college summer programs offered by your institution
  • Boost college persistence and retention among first-generation and underserved student populations with consistent communication of scholar progress and intervention plans as necessary
  • Articulate linkages between this collaboration and efforts to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion on your campus or within your organization
  • Help close the racial and ethnic disparities in enrollment and degree attainment for communities of color
  • Lower post-graduate student loan debt to improve economic opportunity and social mobility for students from low-income households
  • Invest in students who are academically and socially prepared for college, career, community service, and civic responsibility

Partner with us!

Boys Hope Girls Hope is ready to work with colleges and universities to identify strategic points of collaboration focused on institutional enrollment goals, opportunities for enhanced financial aid packaging, and resources of student support services designed to meet the unique features of the first-generation, academically-motivated, student-in-need.  We are anxious to work with your business or institution!  To learn more, contact us.
