Boys Hope Girls Hope International has partnered with Steve Pemberton, author of “A CHANCE IN THE WORLD: An Orphan Boy, a Mysterious Past, and How He Found a Place Called Home,” to share his inspirational story and motivational message with scholars in our affiliate cities.

Steve, who has become a relentless champion for under-represented and served populations, recounts his triumphant life journey in his memoir “A Chance in the World”, now a major motion picture, to help amplify his highly motivational messages: Believe in your dreams, rise above obstacles, create opportunities for others, and most of all, persevere.

“A Chance in the World” will be screening in 800 theaters across the country Wednesday, May 30th only, including several theaters in our affiliate cities. Immediately after, there will be a panel discussion broadcast live from the Paley Center in New York City with Steve Pemberton and guests. For additional information, including theater and ticket information, please visit Fathom Events “A Chance in the World” event page.

Pemberton, a best-selling author, philanthropist, acclaimed speaker, and senior level executive for Globoforce, will also visit Boys Hope Girls Hope International’s Collegiate Prep Seminar where he will speak to more than 100 recent high school graduates—Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars who have beat the odds and are heading to college.  The weeklong seminar will culminate with Steve’s motivational keynote on Friday, June 29th, 11:30am, at World Wide Tech Auditorium.
