WHAT

Our 5-day STEAM + Business camp is an exciting opportunity for rising 9th through 11th grade scholars from our US affiliates who are eager to explore educational and career paths in STEAM and Business. This camp will open doors for innovation, creativity, experimentation, and teamwork, giving scholars the chance to try new things, learn from challenges, and keep pushing forward. Scholars will also have access to industry leaders and valuable resources, helping to pave the way for their futures in these exciting fields.

WHY

  • The camp will help you develop the mindset needed to set goals, face challenges, and achieve success in whatever path you choose.

WRITTEN REFLECTION & VIDEO ESSAY

For BHGH Scholars applying to the Silicon Valley Immersion STEAM + Business Camp, please submit your application at the link above. Your application should include written responses to the reflection questions, as well as a 1–2-minute video essay answering the following:  

What do you hope to discover about your strengths, values, and passions during this camp, and how do you think the skills you gain could help you make a difference in the world around you? How might this experience shape your personal growth and future goals?

COST

For this experience, there will be a $250 program fee per scholar. This fee is all inclusive, meaning Boys Hope Girls Hope Network Headquarters will cover the cost of roundtrip flight to and from Santa Clara as well as on-the-ground costs including transportation, meals, and all activities.  

Payment of the $250 fee is due to Network Headquarters by May 2nd.

For WWT Scholars and affiliate team members attending as chaperones, Boys Hope Girls Hope Network Headquarters will cover the costs of flights and on the ground expenses. 

ELIGIBILITY

All BHGH Scholars interested in participating in the Silicon Valley Immersion STEAM + Business Camp should complete the online application and essay by Friday, March 28th, 2025. Applications will be reviewed by Boys Hope Girls Hope Network Headquarters team members to select 25 Scholars. Before decisions are made, Network Headquarters will reach out to affiliate program team members for an informal reference of each scholar applicant. 

Affiliates with multiple scholars selected will be invited to send a team members for supervision.

Up to 15 Boys Hope Girls Hope World Wide Technology Scholars in good standing are invited to attend to serve as mentors and group leaders. If you are a World Wide Technology Scholar, monitor email for communications directly from Erin Beezley for application and program information.
