Boys Hope Girls Hope Steward Scholars, along with LaShone Gibson, Senior Director of University Partnerships and Academic Excellence, attended the 23rd Annual Women of Color in Technology STEM Conference in Detroit, where they explored STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math) careers, learned about educational pathways, and networked with extraordinary leaders in STEM fields.

The Boys Hope Girls Hope Steward Scholar program, made possible thanks to the generosity of David Steward provides scholarship funding to Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars interested in pursuing careers in STEM-related fields, an all-expense paid opportunity to participate in a professional networking event organized by one of the member organizations of the Global Leadership Forum, and the opportunity to apply for a paid summer internship at World Wide Technology, Inc.
