MONDAY, JUNE 24
10 AM – 4 PM
Campus Arrivals
Graham Hall: Scholars arrive and check into the residence hall. Free time will include some structured outdoor team-building activities, including rock climbing, volleyball, and hiking trails.
12 PM – 1 PM

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26
All activities take place at Santa Clara University. Rooms to be determined unless noted. We are inviting local organizations to join for the day, starting at 9 a.m. for Breakout Sessions or for the 1 p.m. College Fair.

Breakout Sessions
Boys Hope Girls Hope Scholars and local Bay Area students take part in six breakout sessions focused on topics such as applying for scholarships, writing a college essay, and creating a final list. There will be simultaneous sessions for team members and staff of local organizations.

Santa Clara Admission Presentation
(Local Students): Representatives from Santa Clara University’s Admissions Department lead a presentation on how to apply to the university for any local students in attendance.

College Fair
(Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars and local students): The participants will come in on a rolling basis. The Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars will have the first 30-45 minutes alone with the reps followed by students from local organizations. Other Santa Clara University departments will be invited to participate so students can learn about campus services and support. We expect 10-15 colleges and universities from across the US to participate.
