Challenge your friends, family, employees, and co-workers to log the most miles and rise to the top of dollars raised! As individual walkers and teams take this virtual journey around the Boys Hope Girls Hope Network together, you’ll learn more about our international scope, our affiliates, and the youth who are hungry to grow, learn, and BE the hope.
Why Walk?
The young people who empower themselves through Boys Hope Girls Hope from adolescence all the way to landing a job in the field of their dreams have tremendous ability but face disproportionate barriers to achieving their goals and realizing their potential. You can help them move mountains with every step!
Our collective goal is to walk more than 40K miles and raise $210,000!
INDIVIDUALS
You’ll never walk alone! Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to donate to your fundraiser by sponsoring you! Designate your funds to the Boys Hope Girls Hope Network or your local affiliate. Individuals can join a team, too!
TEAMS
Anyone can form a team! To qualify as a team, you must have at least eight (8) members, including yourself. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to take part in the challenge. Walk, ride, or roll together and go for the team prizes!
COMPANIES
Support the Boys Hope Girls Hope Network or your local affiliate with a corporate sponsorship. You’ll receive recognition across all areas of the Charity Footprints app, reaching the entire audience of Boys Hope Girls Hope in the US, Guatemala, and Mexico.

Where and When?
WALK DATES
Walk to Hope is from April 1-30, 2023. Register for $50 starting December 26, 2022. Then challenge friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor your mileage to raise even more!
WHEREVER YOU ARE!
The Walk to Hope takes place where you are—your home, or your neighborhood!
APP-TRACKED
All walkers and teams will be connected through the Charity Footprints app.
NETWORK-WIDE CHALLENGE
While you can set your own goal, the goal of the coast-to-coast challenge is 300,000 steps per individual and 2.4 million per team of eight. Just average 10,000 steps a day for the 30 days and you’ll reach the step goal! If you’re on a team and each member meets that goal, it would equal 2.4 million steps!!

- Set a goal to run, walk, bike, or do other fitness activities.
- Track your progress on your favorite wearable tracker or on the Charity Footprints app.
- Activities can also be tracked via Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Misfit, Android wearables, or the Strava iOS/Android mobile app.
- No devices? No worries. Our team can help you track your steps.
